June 2025 – God of Signs and Wonders

I welcome you to the sixth month of the year of the Onward Christian Soldier, in Jesus’ Name. The number 6 is a symbol of love for humanity and harmonious relationships...

He delivereth and rescueth, and He worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, Who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.Daniel 6:27(KJV)

I welcome you to the sixth month of the year of the Onward Christian Soldier, in Jesus’ Name. The number 6 is a symbol of love for humanity and harmonious relationships; it is the number of Man. Man is God’s method (or established system) here on earth. Whenever God wants a change or a turnaround, He sends a man. In the sixth month, God sent the Angel Gabriel to a woman in Nazareth to announce the coming of a Man filled with the Holy Spirit for signs and wonders that will turn things around on the earth and change the course of history forever. I prophesy to you this month that God will send you men to bring about the miracles needed to turn your life, family, business, career, and ministry around, in the Name of Jesus.

Christ’s divinity and compassion were manifested through miracles. Miracles were not confined to the ministries of Old or New Testament servants of God; rather, they are divine acts granted by the Almighty to confirm and validate the truth and authority of His word. The flow of the supernatural did not end with the death of the last Apostle. Instead, Christians have the responsibility to bring the supernatural intervention of God’s miraculous power to save, deliver, and heal humanity regardless of their race, tribe, culture, nationality, and denomination. Everyone has a deep desire to experience a miracle at some point in life, because only a miracle can turn the impossible into reality. The role and place of miracles, signs, and wonders are very strategic in the establishment and expansion of God’s kingdom. Therefore, I welcome you to the month when God will use you to work incredible miracles, signs, and wonders in your generation, in Jesus’ Name.

THE SOURCE OF TRUE MIRACLES:

God is the origin and source of genuine miracles. He is THE miracle worker. The Bible states that God is the performer, doer, and worker of miracles or wondrous things (Psalms 134:4, 72:18-19; Exodus 15:11). These portions of Scripture, among many others, provide conclusive evidence that the Almighty God is the source of genuine miracles, signs, and wonders.

WANTED: AVAILABLE VESSELS FOR GOD’S BUSINESS:

In these times, unusual diseases, afflictions, and satanic attacks have become alarmingly common, revealing the enemy’s intensified assault. The cry of the suffering people of our time has come up to God as never before, and God is looking for available human vessels to send for the rescue, as He sought Moses at the back of the Midian desert to rescue Israel in Egypt (Exodus 2:23-25, 3:7-10).

In every generation, God needs men and women who will be instruments of righteousness for the deliverance and freedom of people from the bondage of Satan. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him…2 Chronicles 16:9 (AMP).

Qualifications (1 Corinthians 12:7-11):

  1. You must belong to the family of God (Acts 3:26, John 4:24, John 3:6, 1:12).
  2. Be sanctified: This means to be set apart and consecrated to a Holy God. To be sanctified means that you’re dead to sin (Colossians 3:5-10), dead to self, God-centered (Philippians 2:5-7), and with a renewed mind (Romans 12:1-2).
  3. Baptism in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues (Luke 4:1; Acts 2:4). Once baptized, you have access to being led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:4,11).
  4. Experience with engaging in desperate and intensive prayers with fasting (Matthew 4:1-2).
  5. Being ready and willing to serve and walk with Him in the current end-time global rescue mission of soul-winning (Proverbs 11:30).

THE PURPOSE OF MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS:

  1. To authenticate the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to glorify God (Romans 1:16; John 14:10-16; Matthew 7:7-8).
  2. To manifest the glory of Jesus Christ (John 2:11, 9:1-7).
  3. To show God’s endorsement (Acts 2:22; Hebrews 2:4; Luke 5:26).

AUTHENTICATION OF POWER BY MIRACLES

Mark 16:17-18 says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Examples of God’s power at work in the early church:

 Peter:

  • Healed a lame man (Acts 3:6-8); healed many (Acts 5:15); healed Aeneas (Acts 9:32-34); raised Dorcas from the dead (Acts 9:36-41).

Paul:

  • Blinded Elymas the sorcerer (Acts 13:10–11); healed a cripple (Acts 14:8–10); performed miracles in Ephesus (Acts 19:11–12); raised Eutychus from the dead (Acts 20:1–12); performed miracles in Malta (Acts 28:1–10).

Other examples:

  • After the church prayed, the place was shaken (Acts 4:30).
  • The destruction of Ananias and Sapphira for lying (Acts 5:1-11).
  • Saul of Tarsus was blinded (Acts 9:8).
  • Paul and Silas were freed from prison (Acts 16:19-40).

Throughout Scripture, signs and wonders followed the preaching of the Word. That’s why we seek God after the message, whether standing in the aisle, kneeling at the altar, or sitting in the back, the Holy Ghost can move. Healing, deliverance, and miracles can happen anytime, anywhere. One thing is sure: God’s power always confirms His Word. We must pray earnestly for Him to do so.

WHO NEEDS A MIRACLE?

Everyone needs a miracle for different reasons. Luke 4:18-19 says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Conclusion: There is nothing wrong with a Christian releasing his or her faith to seek miracles for the proper purposes for which God gives them. The early church prayed and sought miracles from God and got them (Acts 4:29-30). Therefore, every believer is entitled to have miracles, signs, and wonders manifesting in and through him/her regularly (Mark 16:17). Receive your miracle now, in Jesus’ mighty Name.
