“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27, KJV)
Welcome to 2026 – the Year of the “God of all flesh.” This new year shall be differently wonderful, glorious, powerful, awesome and miraculous, in Jesus’ Name. Finally, your time has come for victory – materially, physically, maritally, spiritually – over known and unknown problems, in Jesus’ Name. The God of all flesh will do a new thing and even make a road in the wilderness and create rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19). Congratulations and welcome to the year of all possibilities, in Jesus’ Name!
In 1939, when the world trembled and World War II erupted, Sir John Templeton used borrowed money to buy 100 stocks worth less than $1 each. Newspapers called it foolish. War made the future unpredictable. But when the war ended, those shares exploded in value, and Templeton became one of the greatest global investors in history. He invested when logic warned against it. He did not act on market trends but on an insight, others lacked at the time.
Let us relate this to the background events in Israel, which led to God saying, ‘…I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”
- Economic crash – Jeremiah 32 takes place during one of the darkest moments in Israel’s history. It wasn’t logical to take a leap of faith and invest in any sector of Israel’s economy.
- Insecurity and fear – Jerusalem was under siege by the Babylonian army under King Nebuchadnezzar. Under the threat of external aggression, the internal tension of insecurity and lack of safety was at its peak at the time.
- Food scarcity and high cost of living – Food was scarce, fear filled the city, families were desperate, and the defeat of Judah seemed impossible to escape. Amidst hunger in the land, the risk of being overrun by an invading army was increasing by the day.
- Persecution of God’s people – King Zedekiah had even imprisoned Jeremiah because his prophecies spoke of the coming destruction and captivity. A time of severe persecution of God’s people does not make an environment viable for investment of any kind.
- General collapse of government institutions – The land was collapsing politically, economically, and spiritually.
Yet, in that very season when the future looked hopeless, God told Jeremiah to buy a field in Anathoth as a prophetic sign that restoration would one day come. It was in this setting of ruin, siege, and national despair that God declared: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” God told Jeremiah to buy land while Babylon was destroying the nation—the worst possible time to invest. No one buys property in a collapsing economy. No one buys land about to be seized by the enemy. Yet God commanded it, because He knew that Israel would return home, the land would regain value, and restoration was coming.
The deal made no sense to men, yet it made perfect sense to God. Just as bold investors saw value before markets recovered, God saw Israel’s future before the present disaster was over. Jeremiah’s obedience was a statement that God owns time, past, present, future, and nothing happening in the world can overrule His plans. This is your portion in 2026. Listen carefully to the Spirit of the living God and do as He bids you, then divine turn-around will be yours, in Jesus’ Name.
1. Faith in the God Who Sees the End from the Beginning
Jeremiah obeyed God and bought land when defeat looked permanent. He acted based on God’s promise, not visible conditions. Faith does not depend on sight; faith depends on who God is. We must trust His final plan even when the present confuses us (Isaiah 46:10; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 4:18-21).
2. Obedience When God’s Instructions Contradict Logic
Buying land during war made no sense, yet Jeremiah obeyed. Obedience is the bridge between promise and manifestation. Obedience positions you where blessing already exists. God does not need conditions to align before He acts. He makes conditions fall in place after you obey (1 Samuel 15:22; Luke 5:4-6; James 2:26).
3. He Loves Us Even in Painful Seasons
Jeremiah was surrounded by fear, famine, and national tragedy but God still spoke promises of restoration. Delay is not neglected. Silence is not absence. He watches over us with love even in hardship. God restores the crushed, lifts the broken, and rewrites stories. Your current season is not your final chapter (Jeremiah 29:11; Psalm 34:19; Hebrews 13:5).
4. Walk in God’s Wisdom—Not Market Trends
Jeremiah invested in ruined land because God, not the economy, guided him. Market statistics, expert predictions, and economic graphs are useful, but they are limited. The believer needs more than analysis; he needs revelation. Before investing money, time, or resources, ask “the God of all Flesh” first. Divine wisdom sees what markets cannot see. God knows timing, value, outcomes, and the future. Just like Jeremiah, God may ask you to sow into what looks dead—because He sees resurrection ahead (Proverbs 3:5-6; 1 Corinthians 3:19; James 1:5).
CONCLUSION
Jeremiah 32:27 unequivocally states God’s stance on crisis: “I am still in control. Nothing is too hard for Me.” Faith believes this; Obedience responds to this; Wisdom walks by this; and Love sustains us through this. Whatever looks broken today, God can rebuild. Whatever seems delayed, He can accelerate. Whatever appears lost, He can restore. Your lifting is not coming, IT HAS BEGUN. He is the God of all flesh. Nothing is too hard for Him.
