October 2017 – The Month Of “Halleluyah”

OCTOBER 2017 - THE MONTH OF "HALLELUYAH" Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound ...

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the LORD God Omnipotent reigns!
— Revelation 19:5-6

We bless God for another new month. The theme for September was “Dominion Mandates” and we prayed accordingly. Testimonies have been coming in about the acts of God in the life of men as His people begin to possess their possessions. This month, the LORD said it is our month of shouting Halleluiah.  Halleluiah means, ‘God be praised’ – it is an expression of rejoicing and of worship. As we shout Halleluiah to our LORD and King this month, expect the unexpected spiritually, emotionally, maritally, physically, etc. From one generation to the other, there is a common denominator in the lives of those who are truly great. It is that they all place premium value on giving God His place in their lives through praise, worship and thanksgiving. The Psalmist recognized this when he said, “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:6).

When we come before God, there are two crucial people in the meeting – God and you. In that meeting, only one thing can be preeminent – your need or God. What you focus on becomes magnified. If you focus on your problem, it becomes overwhelming in your perception. But if you focus on the LORD Jesus Christ and praise Him, He will be magnified and your problems will fade to insignificance. “We have in our churches a great deal of prayer, but I think it would be a good thing if we had a praise meeting occasionally. If we could only get people to praise God for what He has done, it would be a good deal better than asking Him continually for something” (D.L. Moody).

Here are some significant things you can receive this month by singing Halleluiah to the LORD:
1.    Enjoyment of His Divine Presence – Psalms 22:3, 114:4-9
2.    Hearing from God more clearly – Psalms 29:1-3
3.    Experiencing the wonder working power of God – Acts 16:25-26
4.    Increasing in the attraction of favor – Acts 2:47; Mark 6:21-23
5.    Witnessing supernatural breakthroughs – 2 Chronicles 20:17-22
6.    Satisfaction of fresh anointing daily – Psalms 92:1-2,10
7.    Provoking the presence of the Holy Spirit – 1 Samuel 16:13
8.    Assurance of an unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
9.    Beginning to do the impossible, hear the inaudible, and see the invisible – Isaiah 54:1-3; 2 Kings 3:15-17
10.    Acceleration of the manifestation of expected miracles – Habakkuk 3:17-19

It is well established that the LORD of Lords inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3).  When you live a life full of praise to God, His Presence abides with you. When He abides with you, He compels signs and miracles to attend to you. In Psalm 112, when the children of Israel came out of Egypt, God was their sanctuary. The sea saw them and fled. Likewise, Jordan was driven back and the mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like young lambs.  It was God’s Presence that took them through the Red Sea and gave them victory over their enemies.

For the next 31 days, we just want to appreciate Him, thank Him, honor Him, adore Him, dance before Him and sing praises unto Him. Even if you were about to be executed like Paul and Silas in Acts 16, because of the Halleluiah connection, the miraculous will happen. There will be an earthquake and your prison gates shall fling open and your chains fall off in Jesus’ Name. In 2 Chronicles 20:17, the Scriptures say, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them [in Praises!]: for the LORD, will be with you.” (Emphasis mine)

Many years ago, there was no rainfall in one of the cities in America. This led to a drought and poor harvests. The farmers gathered to pray. They prayed for days and nothing happened. Then one day, one of them suggested that they should begin to shout Halleluiah, sing praises and thank God for rain; “…calling those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). The praises moved heaven and not long after, rain came in torrents. They sang their way from famine to fruitfulness. Make God your priority this month [and always] and He will make you His priority.

Prayer Arrows:

  • Father, I have reasons to praise You and I begin to sing my reasons unto you now in Jesus’ Name. My pregnancy was not aborted and presently I am still alive and in the right frame of mind. The restoration, favor, health, family, love and change of status that I have received etc.
  • Isaiah 52:9 says, “Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.” Sing of His mercies forever.
  • I command every sorrow of my heart to give way to songs of praise unto my God now in Jesus’ Name. Father send me helpers of Joy in Jesus’ Name.
  • I relocate from the camp of the murmurers and grumblers in Jesus’ Name (1 Corinthians 10:10).
  • Every agenda of sorrow and tragedy drawn up by my enemy is destroyed and shall neither stand nor come to pass in Jesus’ Name.
  • I declare loud and clear that the joy of the LORD is my strength.
  • As the LORD liveth and my soul liveth, no one in my family will shed tears of sorrow this year and in the years to come in Jesus’ Name.
  • O LORD, I have sown in tears long enough, let me begin to reap JOY from now on in Jesus’ Name (Psalm 126:1-6)
  • Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD – Praise the LORD!
